Alizah's professional journey began in her early 20's shortly after completing a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling. Aspiring to become a motivational speaker and fueled by a passion to share the journey of her own psychological and spiritual transformation, she authored Turning Your Soul Inside out: Paths to a Joyful, Drama-free Life and delivered related lectures and workshops for several years.

Her path then shifted toward a longstanding love of foreign languages and cultures, leading her to teach ESL to adults -- a field she embraced wholeheartedly. Not long after, a detour in her personal life led her to a new city, where she took a temporary job teaching dyslexic children to read. This role provided her specialized training in phonemic awareness, and when she went back to teaching ESL, she integrated her new skills to assist her students with their pronunciation and accent. Since that time, Alizah has helped thousands of students speak and read with clarity.​

Additionally, Alizah penned a children's book, Filbert and Wally: Chattahoochee Daydreams, just for fun, which she later turned into a show, complete with puppets, education, and sing-alongs. To her delight, the show became a local library favorite!

 

Alizah's most recent project is an audiobook series, Weirdo Witches in Wilberry, which can be found on her YouTube channel.

Ultimately, Alizah hopes that her heart-led journey inspires people to nurture themselves and one another, share their gifts and talents, and find joy whenever possible!​​​​​
